ARFTU Beneficiary Graduates with MPA, Advancing Mission to Support Brilliant but Needy Students

The Academic Rescue for the Underprivileged (ARFTU) has celebrated the successful graduation of one of its beneficiaries with a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST-Kumasi).

This marks a significant milestone in ARFTU’s mission to uplift academically gifted but financially challenged students in Ghana.

Miss Esther Nutsugah, who completed her programme with distinction, described the scholarship as a timely intervention that transformed her academic journey and eased the burden of financing her education.

She noted that if she had waited on her savings to further her education, it would not have materialised, adding that the support enabled her to concentrate fully on her studies without constant financial anxiety.

“Because of this support, I was able to successfully pursue and complete my programme, gain valuable knowledge and develop skills that will help me contribute meaningfully to my field and community,” she said.

Mr. Michael Kwawu, representing ARFTU, presented her with a Bible and a ceremonial stole in recognition of her achievement.

He commended her resilience and urged her to embody the values of the organisation.
